In the Computer Based Test (CBT) (objective type) there will be 100 questions of 01 mark each on the basis of syllabus approved by the Commission for the test.
Each question will be followed by four (a, b, c. d) answer options.
The candidate will have to click on the circle adjacent to the option he / she thinks is correct.
The answer key of CBT (objective type) shall be uploaded online on the „MY EXAMINATION MY ONLINE REVIEW‟ in the User IDs of all appeared candidates immediately after its conduct for inviting objection(s) for which 03 (three) days time from the day of publishing of answer key (day of publishing of the answer key plus 3 (three) next days up to 11.59 P.M. of the last date of receipt of objections after which the link will be disabled) shall be given to them to submit their objection(s) in online mode only.

For Tehsil Welfare Officer:- Shimla / Mandi / Kangra at Dharmshala.
For Assistant Professor (Pharmacy):- Examination centers for CBT / Offline, as the case may be, shall be allotted by the Commission at its discretion keeping in view the number of candidates.
ABOUT EXAM BOARD
Himachal Pradesh attained statehood on 25th January, 1971. Prior to this date, the function of Public Service Commission in respect of the civil services and posts in connection with the affairs of the Union Territory of Himachal Pradesh were being discharged by the Union Public Service Commission under Article 315 of the Constitution of India. It was, therefore, incumbent on the State to have its own Public Service Commission.
However, since a State Public Service Commission could be constituted simultaneously with the attainment of Statehood, the Union Public Service Commission, on a request from the Governor of the State of Himachal Pradesh with the approval of the President of India, agreed to serve the needs of Himachal Pradesh till the establishment of a Public Service Commission for the State or for a period of three months from 25th January, 1971 whichever was earlier.

ANSWER KEY
In the offline Screening Test (objective type) (except Preliminary Examinations) there will be 100 questions of 01 mark each on the basis of syllabus approved by the Commission for the test. Each question will be followed by four (a, b, c. d) answer options. The candidate will have to encircle / blacken the option he / she thinks is right / correct on the OMR answer sheet with blue / black ball pen.
There will be negative marking for incorrect answers (as detailed below) for all questions:
- There are four alternatives for the answers to every question. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty
- If a candidate gives more than one answer, it will be treated as a wrong answer even if one of the given answers happen to be correct and there will be same penalty as above for that question.
- If a question is left blank i.e. no answer is given by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
Read Candidates for Important Instruction
Candidates Are Not Allowed To Carry Any Electronic/Mechanical Communication Device Including Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphone, Tablet Etc. Calculators, Books, Scale Or Drawing Instruments Are Not Allowed Inside The Examination Hall. The Commission Shall Not Be Responsible For Safe Custody Of Mobile Phones Etc.
And As Such Will Have No Liability In Case Of Loss Or Damage. No candidate shall be permitted to leave the Examination Hall until an hour has elapsed from the commencement of the examination nor during the last 30 minutes of the allotted time without submitting the Booklets.
E- ADMIT CARDS/E-CALL LETTERS
No Admit Cards/Call Letters will be sent by post and provisionally admitted candidates will have to download their respective e-Admit Cards/e-Call Letters along with instructions for the concerned post(s) from the official website of the Commission. Therefore, the candidates are advised to remember their User ID(s) and password(s) earlier created by the candidates to log in to download their respective e-Admit Cards/e-Call Letters.
The provisionally admitted candidates will have to paste a passport size photograph duly self attested / attested by a Gazetted Officer on the space provided on the downloaded e-Admit Cards, failing which he/she will not be allowed to appear in the Screening Test/ Examination, in any condition/ circumstances, whatsoever.
Answer Sheet: The HPPSC Assistant Professor Candidate should hand over the OMR Answer Sheet personally to the Invigilator on duty before he/she leaves the Examination Hall. No candidate shall be allowed to go to Toilet / Urinal during the last 30 minutes of Examination. No candidate will be admitted to the Examination Hall 20 minutes after commencement of the examination. The candidate will be admitted to take the examination at the Centre specified in the Admission Certificate only and at no other Centre.
