Method of Process

Cut-offs in Phase-I and Phase-II may be applied in two stages: (i) On scores in individual tests, (ii) On Total Score.

NABARD Assistant Manager 2019 Syllabus

Phase I – Preliminary Examination (Online Exam)

Objective Type: MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) carrying 200 marks.

Duration: 120 Minutes Composite Time

Test of Reasoning – 20 marks

English Language – 40 marks

Computer Knowledge –20 marks

General Awareness – 20 marks

Quantitative Aptitude – 20 marks

Phase II – Main Examination will be online and will be a mix of MCQ and descriptive pattern.

Paper-I – General English: (Descriptive – online through key board) Duration: 1 ½ hrs – 100 Marks The analytical and drafting abilities of the candidate shall be assessed through this Descriptive Paper on General English comprising essay writing, comprehension, report writing, paragraph writing & letter writing

Paper–II (MCQ):

for posts as at (i) in Table I – Economic & Social Issues and  Agriculture & Rural Development (with focus on Rural India)

for posts as at (ii) to (ix) in Table-1 : Paper on related discipline

Duration: 1 ½ hrs. – 100 Marks

How to Improve Study Time

Exam Centre

  1. The examination will be conducted online at the venues given in the respective call letters. Kindly check your centre for the examination as the same may have been changed due to official convenience.
  2. No request for change of centre/venue/date/session for Examination shall be entertained.
  3. NABARD, however, reserves the right to cancel any of the Examination Centres and/ or add some other Centres, at its discretion, depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, etc.
  4. NABARD also reserves the right to allot the candidate to any centre other than the one he/she has opted for.
  5. Candidate will appear for the examination at the Examination Centre at his/her own risk and expenses and NABARD will not be responsible for any injury or losses etc. of any nature.
  6. Choice of centre once exercised by the candidate will be final.

Certificate or Document Verification

In the examination hall for each shift, as well as at the time of interview, the call letter along with original and a photocopy of the candidate’s currently valid photo identity such as PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving Licence/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook with photograph/ Photo identity proof issued by a Gazzetted Officer on official letterhead/ Photo identity proof issued by a People’s Representative on official letterhead/ valid recent Identity Card issued by a recognized College/ University / Aadhar card with a photograph/ Employee ID/ Bar Council Identity Card with photograph should be submitted to the invigilator for verification. The candidate’s identity will be verified with respect to his/her details on the call letter, in the Attendance List and requisite documents submitted. If identity of the candidate is in doubt the candidate may not be allowed to appear for these Examination.

Candidates will have to visit the NABARD’s website for downloading call letters for online test (Phase I & II). Intimation for downloading call letter will also be sent through email/SMS. Once the candidate clicks the relevant link, he/she can access the window for call letter download. The candidate is required to use (i) Registration Number/Roll Number, (ii) Password/Date of Birth for downloading the call letter. Candidate needs to affix recent recognizable photograph on the call letter preferably the same as provided during registration and appear at the examination centre with (i) Call Letter (ii) Photo Identity Proof as stipulated in clause 3 below Page 24 of 28 and also specified in the call letter and photocopy of the same Photo Identity Proof as brought in original.

Exam Board Overview

Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the post of Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ in the Rural Development Banking Service (RDBS) in National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). Candidates can apply only ON-LINE on NABARD website www.nabard.org between 10 May 2019 and 26 May 2019. NABARD is an all India Apex Organization, wholly owned by Government of India and is equal opportunity employer. Before applying, candidates should read all the instructions carefully and ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility criteria for the post.

NABARD would admit candidates on the basis of the information furnished in the ON-LINE application along with applicable requisite fee and shall verify their eligibility at the stage of interview / joining. If, at any stage, it is found that any information furnished in the ON-LINE application is false/ incorrect or if according to the Bank, the candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criteria for the post, his/ her candidature will be cancelled and he/she will not be allowed to appear for the interview / joining.

Read Candidates for Important Instruction

Candidates Are Not Allowed To Carry Any Electronic/Mechanical Communication Device Including Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphone, Tablet Etc. Calculators, Books, Scale Or Drawing Instruments Are Not Allowed Inside The Examination Hall. The Commission Shall Not Be Responsible For Safe Custody Of Mobile Phones Etc.

And As Such Will Have No Liability In Case Of Loss Or Damage. No candidate shall be permitted to leave the Examination Hall until an hour has elapsed from the commencement of the examination nor during the last 30 minutes of the allotted time without submitting the Booklets.

Answer Sheet: The NABARD Assistant Manager Candidate should hand over the OMR Answer Sheet personally to the Invigilator on duty before he/she leaves the Examination Hall. No candidate shall be allowed to go to Toilet / Urinal during the last 30 minutes of Examination. No candidate will be admitted to the Examination Hall 20 minutes after commencement of the examination. The candidate will be admitted to take the examination at the Centre specified in the Admission Certificate only and at no other Centre.
