NABARD Grade A 2020 Assistant Manager Education Details

General – Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with a minimum of 50% marks OR or Post Graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks OR Chartered Accountant /Cost Accountant / Company Secretary OR Two year full time P.G. Diploma in Management / full time MBA degree.

General Agriculture – Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture with 50% marks (ST/PWBD applicants – 45%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree in Agriculture / Agriculture (Soil Science/ Agronomy) with a minimum of 50% marks.

Agriculture Engineering – Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Engineering with 50% marks.

Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ (RAJBHASHA)

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university in English/Hindi medium with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subject with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD) in the aggregate OR Bachelor’s Degree with Hindi and English as main subjects with a minimum of 50% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PWBD) in the aggregate. Candidate must be able to translate from English to Hindi and vice/versa. OR Post Graduate Degree from a recognised university in Hindi with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD) in the aggregate and English as a compulsory/elective subject at Graduation level OR Post Graduate Degree in English with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD) and Hindi as a main subject at Graduation level. NABARD Grade A 2020 Selection Process

Phase I – Preliminary Examination (Online Exam)

Phase II – Main Examination will be online and will be a mix of MCQ and descriptive pattern.

The Preliminary Examination is only qualifying in nature and is meant to serve as a screening test. Candidates who qualify and rank sufficiently high as decided by NABARD, shall be called for appearing at the Main Examination. The calling ratio for Main Exam shall be 1:25. There will be penalty for wrong answers marked by the candidate. For every wrong answer marked, 1/4th of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty in Phase-I and Phase-II, both. Cut-offs in Phase-I and Phase-II may be applied in two stages: (i) On scores in individual tests, (ii) On Total Score.

NABARD Grade A 2020 Examination Details

Since the vacancies are earmarked discipline-wise, merit list of candidates for each stage will be prepared discipline-wise. The final selection of the applicants for the post of Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’(RDBS) will be based on their performance in the Phase-II Main Examination and Interview, taken together. In case of candidates securing same marks their ranking will be decided as under:

Among the candidates having equal marks in total (Main examination +interview taken together), the candidate with higher marks in Main Examination will be ranked higher.

In case of having equal marks in Main Examination also, candidate with higher qualification or in case of similar qualification, candidate with higher marks in graduation will be ranked higher. In case of further tie-up, the candidate senior in age will be ranked higher.

Phase I (Preliminary Exam)

Reasoning :- Focus on Comprehension Reasoning, Venn Diagrams, Number Series, Coding and de-coding, Problem Solving Techniques, Statement & Conclusion type questions, arithmetic reasoning, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, syllogistic reasoning, Seating Arrangements.

English Language :- Mainly Focus on the topics like Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Error, Sentence correction, fill in the blanks, Comprehension & Cloze Test etc.

Computer Knowledge :- Basic of Computers, Computer Organization, Generations of computer, Input & Output Device, Shortcuts & Basic knowledge MS word, MS Excel, MS power point, Memory Orientation, Internet, LAN, WAN, Modem, Computer Abbreviations, Modern day Technology. Remember short cut Tricks of MS Word, MS Excel & Computer Abbreviations.

General Awareness :- Questions will be asked from Indian Current Events, Banking, General Science, General Knowledge. Focus will be mainly on Current affairs of National & International news, Important dates, Current Science, Technology, Sports & Culture & Banking Sector. Some questions from Marketing can come in the exam.

Quantitative Aptitude :- Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages , Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart. Phase I (Preliminary Exam)

Paper-I (Descriptive online through key board) General English: – 100 marks

The analytical and drafting abilities of the candidate shall be assessed through the Descriptive Paper on General English comprising essay writing, comprehension, report writing, paragraph Page 10 of 28writing & letter writing. Essay (40 Marks), Precis (20 Marks), Questions on the Precis para (20Marks), Report / Letter Writing (20 Marks).

Duration: 1½ hrs.

Paper-II : (MCQ) – 100 marks

i) for posts as at (i) in Table I – Economic & Social Issues and Agriculture & Rural Development (with focus on rural India).

ii) for posts as at (ii) to (x) in Table I : Paper on related discipline.

Exam Centre

The examination will be conducted online at the venues given in the respective call letters. Kindly check your centre for the examination as the same may have been changed due to official convenience.

No request for change of centre/venue/date/session for Examination shall be entertained.

NABARD, however, reserves the right to cancel any of the Examination Centres and/ or add some other Centres, at its discretion, depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, etc.

NABARD also reserves the right to allot the candidate to any centre other than the one he/she has opted for.

Candidate will appear for the examination at the Examination Centre at his/her own risk and expenses and NABARD will not be responsible for any injury or losses etc. of any nature.

Choice of centre once exercised by the candidate will be final.

Note: If sufficient number of candidates do not opt for a particular centre for “Online” examination, NABARD reserves the right to allot any other adjacent centre to those candidates OR if the number of candidates is more than the capacity available for online exam for a centre, NABARD reserves the right to allot any other centre to the candidates. If the examination is held in more than one session, the scores across various sessions will be equated to adjust for slight differences in difficulty level of different test batteries used across sessions. More than one session are required if the nodes capacity is less or some technical disruption takes place at any centre or for any candidate.

NABARD Grade A 2020 Answer Sheet

The candidate will be supplied carbonless O M R (Optical mark Reader) answer sheet consisting of two (2) copies the original copy and the duplicate copy below. Do not attempt to separate or displace them while answering without the carbon impression paper provided to the candidates. The candidate will be admitted to take the examination at the Centre specified in the Admission Certificate only and at no other Centre. The candidate has to indicate his response to each question by darkening the appropriate bubble with a Black Ball Point pen. No corrections with white fluid will be permitted.

In the NABARD Grade A 2020 examination hall, the call letter along with the candidate’s currently valid photo identity, in original, such as PAN Card/Passport/Driving Licence/Voter’s Card with photograph/Photo identity proof issued on original letter head by a Gazzetted Officer/People’s Representative or Identity Card issued by a recognised college/ University (valid in current year)/Aadhar card with a photograph/ Employee ID, should be submitted to the invigilator for verification.

Note: The candidate’s identity will be verified with respect to his/her details on the call letter and in the Attendance List. If identity of the candidate is in doubt the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the Online Examination.

DOWNLOAD OF CALL LETTER

Candidates will have to visit the NABARD’s website for downloading call letters for online test (Phase I & II). Intimation for downloading call letter will also be sent through email/SMS. Once the candidate clicks the relevant link, he/she can access the window for call letter download. The candidate is required to use (i) Registration Number/Roll Number, (ii) Password/Date of Birth for downloading the call letter. Candidate needs to affix recent recognizable photograph on the call letter preferably the same as provided during registration and appear at the examination centre with (i) Call Letter (ii) Photo Identity Proof as stipulated in clause 3 below and also specified in the call letter and photocopy of the same Photo Identity Proof as brought in original.
