Method of Selection Procedure

The TNFUSRC Forest Watcher selection of the candidates shall be made on the basis of the Online Test/Written Examination and interview. TNFUSRC Forest Watcher PHYSICAL STANDARDS VERIFICATION AND ENDURANCE TEST

Physical Standards Candidate must possess the following minimum Physical Standards.

For the candidate belonging to Scheduled Tribes and Jungle Tribes, the following shall be the minimum height standards

Male Candidate …… 152 cm

Female and Third gender Candidate ……145 cm

Candidate possessing the above said minimum Physical Standards are only eligible to apply for the post.

Certificate of Physical Standards

A certificate containing the following particulars should be obtained from a Medical Officer, above the rank of an Assistant Surgeon appointed by the Government to Government Medical Institution on or after the date of Notification 07-03–2019 and submit the documents when called for by the TNFUSRC.

TNFUSRC Forest Watcher Endurance Test

Applicant will be required to undergo a Physical test consisting of a walk over 25 km and 16 km to be completed in four hours by male and female / third gender candidates respectively which will be conducted by the TNFUSRC. Candidate must satisfy a Medical Board in Chennai regarding his/her physical fitness and capacity for rough outdoor work in the Tamil Nadu Forest Department.

QUALIFYING IN THE EXAMINATION

Candidates will have to pass in each of the objective test. The TNFUSRC Forest Watcher passing marks in each of the test will be decided by the Bank on the basis of the performance of all the competing candidates taken together in each test to a minimum required level.

Marks obtained in the Online test will be reckoned for shortlisting for interview. Accordingly, candidates will be called for interview. Depending upon the number of vacancies, only those candidates who rank sufficiently high in the Online test will be called for the interview in the ratio of 1:5. Mere eligibility/ pass in the test shall not vest any right for being called for interview. The list of candidates shortlisted for interview, will be made available on Bank’s website.

In the examination hall, the call letter along with the candidate’s currently valid photo identity, in original, such as PAN Card/Passport/Driving Licence/Voter’s Card with photograph/Photo identity proof issued on original letter head by a Gazzetted Officer/People’s Representative or Identity Card issued by a recognised college/ University (valid in current year)/Aadhar card with a photograph/ Employee ID, should be submitted to the invigilator for verification.
