TNTET Paper 1 & Paper 2 2019 Recruitment Details

The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. No candidate shall be allowed to go to Toilet / Urinal during the last 30 minutes of Examination. No candidate will be admitted to the Examination Hall 20 minutes after commencement of the examination. The candidate will be admitted to take the examination at the Centre specified in the Admission Certificate only and at no other Centre.

Method of Process

Selection Process: Selection will be made on the basis of written test (Objective/Descriptive). The TNTET Paper 1 & Paper 2 the right to call only the requisite number of candidates for the written examination based on the candidate‟s qualification and suitability.

Scores will be normalized to 100.

However, eligible outstation SC/ST/PwBD candidates attending the Written Test/Document Verification will be reimbursed to and fro Second Class rail/bus fare by the shortest route or actual expenditure incurred, whichever is less on production of evidence of travel.

Examination Overview

TRB issued Notification for the TamilNadu Teacher Eligibility Test-2019 – Paper I and Paper-II vide Advertisement No. 08/2019, dated 28.02.2019. In this connection, TRB now releases the Provisional Hall Tickets for those candidates who applied for the said examinations.-

          Date of Written Examination:

            Paper I – 08.06.2019 (Saturday 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM)

            Paper II – 09.06.2019 (Sunday 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM)

The candidates are requested to use their User ID and Password for downloading their Hall Ticket through the website http://www.trb.tn.nic.in from 26.05.2019.
