Certificate Verification
In the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test TNTET Paper 1 & 2 examination hall, the call letter along with the candidate’s currently valid photo identity, in original, such as PAN Card/Passport/Driving Licence/Voter’s Card with photograph/Photo identity proof issued on original letter head by a Gazzetted Officer/People’s Representative or Identity Card issued by a recognised college/ University (valid in current year)/Aadhar card with a photograph/ Employee ID, should be submitted to the invigilator for verification.

Exam Overview
Last time TN TRB had issued certificate of marks separately for Paper I and Paper II. For Paper I, it was released on 21 July, and for Paper II it was issued on 25 June. Candidates got one months time to download them. They had to login to download certificate of marks. It is expected that TNTET 2019 Certificate of Marks will also be published separately, after declaration of result.
Paper I was qualified by 6.61% candidates, whereas Paper II was cleared by 3.66%. Mathematics and Science (Paper II) had passing rate of 2.72%, and Social Sciences (Paper II) passing rate was 4.68%.
TNTET is taken by similar set of aspirants who go for CTET. The difference is that former is a state level teacher eligibility test whereas latter is of national level. In last conducted CTET exam, 17% qualified Paper 1 and 15% qualified Paper 2. 10,73,545 appeared for Paper 1 and 1,78,273 qualified. 8,78,425 took Paper 2 and 1,26,968 qualified.
